The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the City Intimation Slip for the CUET (UG) 2023 exams, providing candidates with essential details about the exam schedule and subjects. The slip can be accessed online, and candidates are advised to stay updated for the Admit Card release.

CUET City Intimation Slip: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the City Intimation Slip for the upcoming CUET (UG) 2023 exams. Candidates can now access the slip on the official website by entering their Application Number and Date of Birth. The City Intimation Slip contains crucial information about the exam, including the date, shift, subjects, and chosen medium of the online application.

However, it’s important to note that some candidates may have chosen subjects that are not currently displayed in the City Intimation Slip. In such cases, the respective slips for those subjects will be issued separately at a later date. This step is taken to ensure accuracy and clarity in the exam process.

The CUET (UG) 2023 exam is scheduled to take place from May 29 to June 2. Additionally, to accommodate the large number of registered candidates in certain cities, the exam will also be conducted on June 5-6, with reserve days on June 7-8.

Candidates must understand that the City Intimation Slip is not the Admit Card for CUET (UG) 2023. It serves as advance information about the allocated city where the examination centre will be located. The Admit Card will be issued separately at a later date, and candidates are advised to stay updated for further announcements regarding its release.

In the past three days, the CUET (UG) 2023 exam has seen extensive participation and excellent teamwork. The exam was conducted in 18 shifts across 272 cities and 472 centres. An impressive total of 6,37,849 students have appeared for the examination, reflecting the significance and popularity of the exam among aspiring students.

The overall attendance rate for the exam stands at 75%, showcasing the commitment and dedication of the candidates. The UGC Chairman, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, expressed gratitude to all the heads and coordinators of institutions, city officials, students, and parents for their cooperation and support, which has contributed to the smooth conduct of the examination.

Locate the City Intimation Slip section: Look for the section or tab on the website dedicated to the City Intimation Slip for the CUET (UG) 2023 exams.
Enter your details: Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth in the respective fields provided. Make sure to enter the correct information to ensure accurate results.
Submit the information: After entering your details, click on the “Submit” or “Check” button to proceed.

Except possibility of morning showers, hot and dry weather to continue in J&K: MeT

Srinagar, Sept 15(GNS): The weatherman on Friday forecast “hot and dry” weather to continue in Jammu and Kashmir for a week ahead.

According to a meteorological department official, light to moderate rain and thunderstorm occurred at scattered places of J&K .

“Except brief spell of morning rain, weather is very likely to remain hot and dry in Jammu and Kashmir during the next 24 hours,” the official told GNS, adding, “Day temperature was likely to remain 1-2°C lower than yesterday.”

Regarding the forecast from September 16-22, he said, the weather was mainly going to be hot and dry but a brief spell of rain at isolated to scattered places of J&K cannot be ruled out.

“Due to absence of any strong Western Disturbance or Monsoon Current over J&K, there’s no forecast of major rain for a week, at least.”(GNS)

Budgam duo on Scooty die on spot after being hit by a Sumo

Baramulla, Sep 12, KNT: Two persons, one who was driving the Scooty and the pillion rider died on the spot after being hit by a speeding Sumo in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.

The mishap took place in Hairath Singhpora area of Pattan.

Sources told the news agency Kashmir News Trust that a Sumo (JK15-0782) hit a Scooty ( JK04-E4493). The driver of the Scooty and pillion rider died on the spot. They said both were taken to hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.

The deceased have been identified as Faizian Mushtaq Ganai of Chandakot Bala Magam and Riyaz Sajad Mala, a resident of Yagipora Magam.

Police seized the Sumo, arrested driver and registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
